Vacancy: Technical Plant Manager

 

Acacia-Composites Manufacturers (Pty) Ltd. is the only producer of Wood Composite Products on the African Continent. Founded 3 years ago, we have started building our markets in SADC, Germany, the UAE and other regions. We produce our high-quality Wood-Composite (WPC) products from Encroacher Bush, special polymers and additives to achieve our high quality standards.

For the continuous operation of our production plant in Windhoek, Southern Industrial, we are looking for a


Production Manager


Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for production at the Windhoek site,

  • Monitoring, control and optimization of production processes as well as compliance with production targets,

  • Management, motivation and development of employees including personnel and shift planning (3 shift operation, 24/7),

  • Independent management of the most important products in the supply chain (wood, polymers, additives, consumables and wear materials) of defined suppliers,

  • Close cooperation with sales, purchasing and administration,

  • Organizing and implementing repairs and maintenance, quickly overcoming downtimes,

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations,

  • Direct contact person for shift supervisors,

  • Continuous technical reporting to the management.

Requirements:

  • Technical/mechanical studies, or an equivalent qualification,

  • At least 3 years of management experience in a technical production company,

  • Know-How in production processes for wood plastic composites advantageous.
