Acacia-Composites is redefining what’s possible in sustainable building materials — and we’re proud to say we do it all from Namibia. Our premium wood-plastic composite (WPC) decking and cladding products are the result of years of intensive development between Africa and Europe, combining cutting-edge German engineering with local expertise and ecological responsibility.

Our Composites are manufactured in Windhoek using high density polymers and biomass from invasive bush. This resource helps restore Namibia’s natural rangelands while creating high-performance construction materials. Every board is certified to meet the EN 15534-1 and EN 15534-4 European standards and exceeds the advanced criteria set by the German Qualitätsgemeinschaft Holzwerkstoffe e.V.

We’ve built an in-house quality testing lab to ensure consistency and performance, testing every batch for:

  • UV durability under intense southern sun (simulated 10-year exposure)

  • Breaking load strength over 400kg pointed load with 35cm joist spacing

  • Water absorption in 5-hour cooking and 2 months cold water immersion

  • Dimensional stability at 80°C

  • Thermal expansion, resilience, and finish quality

The result is a decking system that’s resistant to rot, insects, decay, and stains — and built for low maintenance across years of outdoor exposure. Whether you’re working in harsh, dry heat or humid coastal zones, Acacia-Composites delivers lasting beauty and engineered strength.

We are proud to be the only African WPC manufacturer of this calibre, and we carry that responsibility seriously. Our proximity to the market enables us to deliver faster, respond more quickly, and provide hands-on service to installers, architects, and contractors across Southern Africa. Furthermore, we work directly with you to supply reversible and single-sided boards in custom lengths and finishes, offering flexibility that's rarely available with imported stock.

As North African and European markets increasingly value sustainability and transparency, our Namibian-made products are proving to be a more innovative and cleaner alternative to traditional hardwoods and long lead-time imports from Asia. No tree is felled for our products!

We believe the future of building lies in intelligent, local manufacturing, and that African solutions can meet and exceed global standards. At Acacia-Composites, we’re here to help you build that future — one board at a time.
